Problem the project solves
Many CRM and order systems lack convenient promo code management. Discounts must be entered manually, expiration dates are not controlled, and the history of used codes and marketing campaigns is often lost.
The service adds a centralized promo code management mechanism to CRM, ERP, POS, and order management systems.
Users can create and store promo codes, define discount percentages, set expiration dates, and configure application rules. A QR code can be generated automatically for each promo code and used in advertising, printed materials, retail locations, exhibitions, and other offline campaigns.
Promo codes can be applied directly from an order, deal, invoice, or retail sale record through a widget, button, or dedicated field.
After a code is entered, the service:
- finds the promo code in the central list;
- checks whether it is active;
- validates its date and time limits;
- determines the discount amount;
- applies the discount to products or the entire document;
- saves the used code in a custom field;
- reloads the code when the record is opened again.
The service may support two discount modes:
- replace the current discount;
- add the promo code discount to the existing discount.
If the promo code is removed, the system recalculates discounts according to the selected logic. If different line-item discounts are already used, the service can display a warning about mixed discounts.
The solution is suitable for marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, returning-customer discounts, partner promotions, offline stores, and quick discount application without manually editing every product line.
The first version may support one or several platforms depending on demand from Laboratory participants. Potential integrations include KeyCRM, KeepinCRM, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Kommo, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Shopify, WooCommerce, and other systems with an available API.
